1. Acceptance & Eligibility

By using Closr's website or providing feedback, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use our services.

Eligibility:

You must be 18 or older
You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
Your use of Closr indicates acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy

2. What Closr Is (Platform Disclaimer)

Important: Closr is currently in early development, launching Fall 2026. We are collecting validation data and user feedback to understand housing problems.

Closr is:

A platform for validating housing problems and gathering user feedback
Currently collecting data to decide whether to build a full product
Operated by an independent solo founder
NOT a functioning rental platform yet

Closr is NOT:

Providing rental services, property listings, or repairs
Employing, representing, or controlling renters, landlords, or service providers
Facilitating actual transactions or services at this time
Guaranteeing that a final product will launch

Key statement: Users interact with Closr to provide feedback during our validation phase. Closr is not liable for any user interactions, content, or conduct that may occur outside our website.

3. User Conduct Rules

You must NOT:

Provide false information
Impersonate others
Harass or threaten other users
Share others' data without consent
Attempt to break into the website
Spam or abuse the survey/form
Use bots or automated tools to scrape data
Engage in illegal activities

4. Intellectual Property

Closr owns the website, code, design, and brand.

Users own their survey responses and feedback. By providing feedback, you grant Closr a license to:

Use your feedback for platform improvement and future product development
Quote or reference feedback (anonymously) in product documentation

5. No Warranty / As-Is Disclaimer

Important: Closr is provided "as is" with no warranties, express or implied.

We do not guarantee:

The website will be error-free
The platform will be available 100% of the time
The website is completely secure
A final product will launch or match any feedback or promises in this early stage

6. Limitation of Liability

Closr is NOT liable for:

Data loss
Service interruptions
Indirect damages
Lost profits
Damages from third parties

Our total liability: Limited to $0 (zero dollars) since this is a free validation platform. This limitation applies even if we've been warned of possible damages.

7. Closr-Specific Protections

No Verification Guarantee

Closr does not verify the accuracy of any user information or survey responses. Users provide feedback at their own judgment. Closr is not responsible for false claims, misleading information, or inaccurate feedback shared by any user.

No Future Guarantee

Closr is collecting validation data to decide whether to build a full platform. There is NO guarantee that Closr will launch, that the final product will match user feedback, or that users will get access even after providing feedback.

Platform Change Disclaimer

Closr may pivot, change business model, or discontinue the project entirely. If Closr discontinues, all user data will be securely deleted within 30 days.

No Legal Advice

Closr is not providing legal, financial, tax, or real estate advice. Users seeking such advice should consult with licensed professionals.

8. Termination

We can terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You can stop using Closr anytime by not visiting the website. Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, not court. These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

10. Changes to Terms

We may change these Terms anytime as Closr develops. We'll notify users via email or website banner. Your continued use means you accept the new Terms.

11. Severability

If any part of these Terms is ruled invalid, the rest remains in effect.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms + Privacy Policy = our entire agreement with you. No other promises or side deals apply.
